Shamrock Soda Bread

1: Pre-heat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas Mark 5.

2: Mix the yogurt and milk together with the juice of the lemon and set aside for 5 minutes.

3: Place all the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl and stir together.

4: Make a well in the center and pour in the wet mixture.

5: Incorporate the mix together with a spoon or spatula before using your hands to form a soft dough.

6: Turn out onto a lightly floured surface and knead briefly.

7: Shape into a shamrock shape on a lightly floured baking tray.

8: Cut slits into the shamrock leaves and stalk.

9: Bake in the oven for approximately 30 minutes until golden and sounds hollow when tapped.
