A delicious tiffin made with a mix of chocolates, cookies, and sweets, set in a refrigerated mold. This recipe brings together a variety of textures and flavors, combining rich chocolate with crunchy biscuit bits.
Put the butter and syrup in a saucepan, set over gentle heat and stir occasionally until the butter has melted.
Take the saucepan off the heat and break in the chocolate into pieces. Leave for a few minutes to melt, then stir until smooth.
In a bowl, put the cookies and Maltesers. Reserve 15 malted milk biscuits and add the rest to the bowl.
Break up the biscuits and chocolates by pounding them with a rolling pin to create a mix of crumbs and larger bits.
Use scissors to chop the milk bottle sweets into about three pieces each and add to the bowl with the biscuit mixture.
Once the chocolate mixture is fully melted, mix in the dry ingredients thoroughly.
Transfer the mixture to a lined 23cm square tin and level it.
Place the reserved malted milk biscuits on top in three neat rows of five.
Refrigerate until set, then remove from the tin using the lining paper and cut into portions.
