A delicious vegan tiffin recipe made with dairy-free butter, dark chocolate, and an assortment of nuts and biscuits, decorated with edible gold dust. Perfect for sharing or enjoying yourself during veganuary!
Line a 20cm round loose-bottomed tin with baking parchment or use a round 20cm silicone mould (no need to line with parchment!).
Place the dairy free butter or coconut oil and chocolate in a bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water.
Heat the chocolate, stirring regularly, until melted, then remove from the heat.
Stir in the syrup and nut butter, then fold through the nuts, dates, and biscuits until combined.
Tip the mixture into your prepared tin or mould and press firmly down into the base.
Chill in the fridge to firmly set.
Once set, remove from the fridge and allow to come back to room temperature.
Melt the chocolate for decoration and use it as edible glue to attach the Livia treats.
Dust some of the treats with gold dust and pipe the chocolate over them.
Scatter over the chopped nuts and clusters, then press them onto the tiffin.
Allow to set before applying remaining melted chocolate to attach your decorated treats.
Fill gaps with extra nuts and clusters, dust with additional gold dust as desired. ENJOY!
